What does Aloe Vera Drinking Gel Immune Plus taste like?
Aloe Vera Drinking Gel Immune Plus has a natural, lightly spicy note of ginger, which gives it its individual character. Lemon provides for a fruity refreshment and the honey wonderfully rounds off the taste with a light, sweet note.
Can I mix Aloe Vera Drinking Gel Immune Plus with other food?
Our drinking gels can be consumed pure either chilled or unchilled. The drinking gel can also be mixed with water, juices or even yoghurt or prepared together with fruit as a smoothie. Especially for the cold season: Pour warm water over the Drinking Gel Immune Plus to make a tea – very tasty with fresh mint.
The insider tip: Pour 90 ml Drinking Gel Immune Plus into a high mixing cup. Then peel, dice and add half a cucumber. Peel a lemon with a sharp knife, chop coarsely and sweeten with 1 tablespoon honey. Puree everything with a blender and fill into 2 glasses. Refine the smoothie with fresh ginger or dilute it with water as desired. Simply delicious and super healthy with an extra portion of vitamins.
Is the vitamin C and the lemon juice concentrate contained in Aloe Vera Drinking Gel Immune Plus natural?
The lemon juice concentrate used is natural lemon juice from which a large part of the water has been extracted. Unfortunately, the citric acid naturally occurring in the lemon juice concentrate is not sufficient as an acidity regulator, therefore biotechnologically produced citric acid is added to the Aloe Vera Drinking Gels. This is the only way to ensure that the product is demonstrably stable and of consistently high quality.
Ascorbic acid is vitamin C and is also called L-ascorbic acid and dehydroascorbic acid.
May children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers consume Aloe Vera Drinking Gel Immune Plus?
Aloe vera’s versatile properties make it suitable for both external and internal use by pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children. According to the Federal Institute for Agriculture and Nutrition (BLE), pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers in particular need a higher daily dose of vitamins and minerals.
There are no systematic studies on the consumption of Aloe vera during pregnancy. A teratogenic risk has not yet been described in humans. Nevertheless, LR recommends not to consume Aloe Vera Drinking Gel during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
Pregnant women as well as breastfeeding mothers should pay more attention to a balanced diet. The detoxifying active substances contained in Aloe vera may cause side effects, such as abdominal pain and diarrhoea in the baby in case of unusual, excessive Aloe consumption. The recommended dosage is 3 x 30 ml per day.
Children up to 12 years need a lower daily ration than adults, so the recommended intake for children should be reduced according to age. LR does not recommend consumption for children under the age of 5. Should Drinking Gel Immune Plus be considered too spicy, Aloe Vera Drinking Gel Traditional with Honey is also recommended for children and adolescents.
Is it harmful to consume AV Drinking Gel Immune Plus daily over a longer period of time?
No, on the contrary. Depending on the individual metabolism, the consumption of the Aloe Vera Drinking gels usually does not show any noticeable effects until after three to eight months, therefore long-term application is even recommended for the general improvement of physical well-being.
The consumption of Aloe Vera Drinking Gels does not replace a balanced diet. The recommended daily intake is 3 x 30 ml, however, 90 ml once a day before a meal is also possible.
